Starting out

I have tried diaries of various kinds...at one time, I was keeping track of the various ways I was trying to keep track of my life, and I had, as I recall, three different diaries going at the same time, plus a compilation of my poetry, that right now is the best diary I've got going. It was last night, when I was working on a poem, that I thought of trying a personal blog to keep track of the things I was working on. So here I am ... and wondering if this is a good idea. We'll see. I certainly love keeping my Facebook site up to date. I'm using it much like a diary, and it isn't really made for that. I don't even know how this blog site works - whether I'll be able to post pictures, for example. We'll see. I like the idea of this at any rate.
